FUJIFILM NATURA 1600: THE FILM KILLED BY INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM.

Terrorism affects many more facets than politics or the citizens killed, as can be seen in this case. The strictest controls with X-rays in the transport of international goods, have caused that the colour film with a speed higher than 800 ASA cannot be transferred outside its country of manufacture. Due to complaints received about X-ray fogging, Fujifilm was forced to suspend the fastest color film in the world, Natura 1600 (formerly Superia 1600), even though the global demand was very high, because with only the Japanese market it is not feasible for its manufacture to be profitable.

Yesterday, I was very happy, because, in the office, I found two forgotten Natura 1600 rolls, hidden behind 16 mm spools. They are outdates, and it's a shame I didn't keep them in the freezer, but I'm still going to use them this fall with the latest Fujifilm camera, a white gem of which only 3,000 units were made. Soon, more information.
