Thanks to André Hagers, Álex and me received our copies of the latest issue of PHT, a nice film magazine printed in Holland by a major club. For a private, non-commercial magazine for members only, the quality of the layout and printing is surprising of very high level, entirely in colour, with a very complete text behind which you can see there are many hours of enthusiastic work.
The magazine is published in Dutch but, thank God, one can get an idea of the text thanks to the translator that is built into smartphones.
This issue is important for us because it devotes a full four-page article about the Single-8 systems, which also analyses Single-8 cameras that were not made by Fuji. Holland was, at the 70s and early 80s, the largest market for the Single-8 in the world, after Japan. I still remember, in the mid-nineties, when the Single-8 had disappeared from Spanish shops, but in Amsterdam it could be found cartridges (silent, pre striped and sound) in the airport shop.
André Hagers tells me that the print run of this issue is 1000 copies. About 800 go to club members. About 35 go to museums and relatives. If requested, we mail copies to researchers, sometimes to relatives, etc. They also have options for new members to obtain one or more years' worth of copies at an attractive price. That works very well.
Mr. Gé Aarts, author of the Single-8 article, gave a copy of issue 4 to Jürgen Lossau, who visited the club.
Thank you very much André... and congratulations to your club!
