A common issue with Elmo GS 1200 projectors are the noises with the amplifier. Technical issues like this is the of my relationship of hate/love with Elmo projectors: all the damages in my films, both in Super-8 and 16 mm, were caused by Elmo projectors; for this reason, I prefer Fumeo, Beaulieu, Fujicascope, Braun and others; but Elmo machines are like a drug: after a time, I always need to use an Elmo again!
