LASER REVERSE SCAN FOR FIRST TIME IN A FUMEO 9271 VIP 16 MM PROJECTOR
After various tests carried out by Jesús Ruibal, one of the few technicians certificates by Dolby in Spain, and whose work experience includes having installed up to 70 mm projectors in theaters even in the United States (yes, friends: this kind of unknow talent is possible to find here, in Galicia, my region in the northwest of Spain), finally, a compact 16mm halogen projector, now, can play optical sound reading the track by laser reverse scan.
This machine is already perfectly operational, for the first time in the world: its the oldest of my 3 Fumeo 9271 VIP projectors, a unit that I had bought at the Milan factory in the early eighties and that, in all these years, has given me nothing but satisfaction despite the intensive use of a professional type.
The first tests did not obtain the result obtained since the lens of the solar cell subtracted a good part of the red LED lighting, so that the sound was not perfect. But Jesus, with his mastery, has accomplished the impossible.
Thank you very much, friend Jesus!
