NIGHT VISION GOGGLES IN CFI LAB, IN IB CINEMA

Harryhausen and Selick are the names choosen for the two night vision goggles from the IB Cinema film laboratory, CFI (in memory of the Consolidated Film Industries laboratory, in Hollywood, which won so many technical Oscars). The glasses, when not in use, are kept in custody in the Nelson Institute room, here in IB Cinema.

Using this type of glasses to manipulate raw film stock  is somewhat experimental... but it works! The 7 infrared light emitters on the front of each google are not used, and on the rear ones, which are smaller, we only use two and, normally, only in one of the two goggles, whose light "enslaves" the other.

Until now we have only tested with 100 ASA film, with complete satisfaction. Now, we have given another twist, and we have used 200 and 500 ASA speed film (one of the tests with lights from both gogles).

But today's question is: who wears the Harryhausen glasses and who the Selick glasses?
