THE FUTURE OF MOTION PICTURE FILM: at the botton, the recording of last Saturday February, 20, 2021, chat with, among others, Antonio Rasura, director of Kodak Motion Picture Division. Chat was hosted by Charys Schuler and Marwan Mozayen, editors of the international magazine SilverGrain Classics, printed in Germany in English lenguage.
Charys show to the audience my next article, about Polaroid Super-8, "Polavision: an Instant failure", in which I present the next documentary about the system shot by the Spaniard director, film editor and stop motioner Alex López.Blog dedicated to Super-8, a film gauge of more than half a century's old, which has a lot to say, both artistically and technically, in the midst of the digital age. OPINIONS ARE STRICTLY PERSONAL.

THE SUPER-8 PROJECTOR OF YOUR DREAMS
A Super-8 cinema projector
fascinates to the smallest of the family... but not only
them!, with its purring, its toothed wheels and the spinning reels.
When
projecting with a quality machine, watching a super-8 movie on the big screen,
especially when using top quality emulsions, is an unforgettable experience
impossible to emulate with aseptic digital projection.
The arrival of Kodak Ektachrome film for Super-8,
in 2018, has reactivated interest
in the direct projection of reversal originals.
My next article in SILVERGRAIN CLASSICS will be about this subjet.
SILVERGRAIN CLASSICS is the must-have magazine published in English lenguage, printed in Germany in luxury glossy paper, for anyone linked to the photo chemical technology as art or industry.
The magazine is internationally distribuited in big cities (New York, Berlin, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London...) and international airports libraries, but also sold by subscription in the address:

GERMANY, D-DAY , H-HOUR: PROCESSING OF THE TOTALLY NEW KODAK EKTACHROME 7294 IN SUPER-8.
Initially the new Kodak Ektachrome 7294 motion picture Super8 film should to be processed at the Dutch lab Super 8 Reversal Lab by Frank Bruisma (together with a cartridge from the old Ektachrome, other one of Fujifilm Velvia 100 and and one more of Fujifilm Provia 100), but since there is barely time for Photo Klassik International magazine to go to press (for its presentation of the English edition in the Photokina of Colonia, next September), and the macro photographs of the frames need the approval by Kodak, the processing was made finally in Germany by the editor himself, Marwan Mozayen, with a machine identical to the one that Kodak bought 13 units, and using freshly manufactured Tetenal chemicals. Jobo's engineers were also consulted.
