NIGHT VISION GOGGLES FOR IB CINEMA´S MOTION PICTURE FILM LABORATORY.

In  IB CINEMA´s motion picture film laboratory not only film is it processed (for our use only, not for others), but also raw film is cut and loaded in cartridges (for use in IB Cinema only, not for sale!), an operation that has to be done with total darkness. The problem is that, as time goes by, me no longer have the skill of past tenses, I make mistakes or work extremely slowly.

Googles in its human skull for storage

The legionnaire knight friend Ángel Caro, as he closed his commercial laboratory Revelado Reversible, gave me for free his night vision goggles.

Settings buttoms

He could have sold them, if he were of another nationality, but, knowing that they would be useful to me, he gave them to me for no money! This is how things are done in Spain, when there is a friendship involved.

Model of the goggles

These night vision goggles have two modes of infrared rays: the normal one, which allows you to see at great distances, and the vey reduced ones.

Reduced setting, for use with unprocessed film

For use with unexposed film, ONLY can be used the reduced mode, but this is sufficient with nearby laboratory instruments. You have to be very careful with this setting, because the normal mode veils the film!!!, ruining the filmrolls.

Standard infrared position: not for the lab!

Likewise, on the monitor for the eyes, must be activated the black and white vision , and not the green one.

These comfortable night vision goggles run on five AA batteries and feature a replica human skull for storage when not in use.
